1. The first meeting of the Joint Finance and Health Task Force under the Finance Track of G-20 will be held in a virtual mode today. This will be the third meeting of the Finance Track under India's G-20 Presidency after the meetings of the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Deputies and Framework Group meeting in Bengaluru last week.

जी-20 के फाइनेंस ट्रैक के तहत ज्वाइंट फाइनेंस एंड हेल्थ टास्क फोर्स की पहली बैठक आज वर्चुअल मोड में होगी। पिछले हफ्ते बेंगलुरु में वित्त मंत्रियों और सेंट्रल बैंक के डेप्युटीज एंड फ्रेमवर्क ग्रुप की बैठक के बाद भारत की जी-20 अध्यक्षता के तहत फाइनेंस ट्रैक की यह तीसरी बैठक होगी।

2. Over 190 countries have adopted a landmark biodiversity pact to restore natural ecosystems. At the UN Biodiversity Conference, COP15 in Montreal, these countries agreed to protect 30 percent of the planet by 2030.

3. The Government has accorded in-principle approval for setting up 21 Greenfield Airports across the country. So far nine Greenfield airports have already been operationalized and the tenth Greenfield airport at Mopa, Goa has been inaugurated on 11th of this month.

4. India and Netherlands held 11th Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) in New Delhi yesterday, where both sides discussed the way forward in crucial sectors such as Water, Agriculture and Health (WAH agenda), Science and Technology, climate innovation, and renewable technologies.

5. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has sounded a note of optimism on stalled Security Council reforms, saying that adding permanent members is now being taken seriously. He noted that four of the five permanent members of the Council were in favour of adding members to the Council.

6. In Women's Cricket, the fifth and final T-20 International of the five-match series between India and Australia will be played today at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The match will start at 7 pm Indian Time.

8. The Tamil Nadu government has announced that all those who are eligible for benefits under various government schemes are required to submit proof of possession of an Aadhaar number.
